The Northern Rhode Island Chamber of Commerce is the state’s first
regional chamber. We represent the businesses – and work with community
leaders – from Burrillville to Pawtucket.
EXPAND YOUR KNOWLEDGE BY ATTENDING SEMINARS AND WORKSHOPS. We
offer a variety of seminars and workshops on topics you and your
employees can bring back to your business.
PROMOTE YOUR BUSINESS TO 1,500 BUSINESS DECISION-MAKERS IN NORTHERN
RHODE ISLAND. Promote your
business in our weekly electronic newsletter; put your business fliers
in our office display case; or list your business under a variety of
categories in our on-line searchable membership directory.
HOLD OFF-SITE MEETINGS WITH YOUR STAFF, OR ORGANIZE A PRESENTATION
FOR CLIENTS AND USE THE CHAMBER’S CONFERENCE ROOM FOR FREE. The room
has a computer with Internet access, LCD projector, and its tables and
chairs can be arranged in a variety of configurations to fit your needs.
JOINING A VOLUNTEER COMMITTEE GIVES YOU AND YOUR STAFF OPPORTUNITIES
TO GROW YOUR SKILLS AND BUSINESS CONTACTS. The Chamber has a number
of volunteer committees that offer you a chance to become involved with
programs that make a difference to the business community.
RECEIVE GOVERNMENT REPRESENTATION AT THE LOCAL, STATE AND FEDERAL
LEVELS. The Chamber has two lobbyists on staff who testify at the
R.I. State House on issues of importance to the business community.
Additionally, the Chamber works with the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, which
offers federal representation to our members.
BUSINESS REFERRALS. When people call our Chamber looking for
businesses, we will refer our member companies only. And all Chamber
member businesses are listed in our searchable membership directory on
our website – www.nrichamber.com - both by name and category.
ACCESS AGENCIES AND PROGRAMS THAT COULD SAVE YOUR BUSINESS MONEY.
Eligible Chamber member businesses can save money on day care, apply for
Employee Investment Grants or workforce training dollars and health
care.
