The Northern Rhode Island Chamber of Commerce in partnership with the Rhode Island Society of CPA’s will host a 1st Congressional District Candidate Forum on Tuesday, October 9, 2012 from 7:50 AM – 9:30 AM at the Marriott Providence Downtown, located at 1 Orms Street, Providence. This special Eggs & Issues breakfast will feature incumbent Democrat David Cicilline and Republican challenger Brendan Doherty.
The candidates will discuss issues of importance in our country as well as matters of concern to the business community. Candidates will respond to questions that will be solicited from Chamber members and Society members prior to the forum. Chamber President and CEO, John C. Gregory, will be the moderator.
