Eggs & Issues Breakfast
Thursday, January 24th
7:50 AM – 9:15 AM (7:50 to 8:15 is Refreshments/networking)
Dr. Edinaldo Tebaldi of Bryant University ’s Department of Economics will present an overview of Rhode Island ’s and the nation's economic outlook for 2013 and beyond.
With the partial avoidance of falling off the "fiscal cliff" and a dose of healthy budget news for the State of Rhode Island, a topic that’s on just about everyone’s mind now is how those and other related issues will affect the state of our economy. The economic picture for the country and the state was a major factor in our recent election and understanding what lies ahead helps determine business planning for the coming months.
The economic outlook is also a primary concern when crafting tax and budget policy on a federal and state level. So where are we now and where will we be in the next few months as it relates to our economy? Please join us and enjoy a full breakfast on January 24th as the Chamber welcomes Dr. Edinaldo Tebaldi to get the answers to those and other questions regarding the economy and economic policy. Doctor Tabaldi is an expert on the Rhode Island economy. He serves as the Rhode Island co-forecast manager for the New England Economic Partnership, (NEEP) and has worked as a consultant in the area of economic development for the World Bank. His Rhode Island economic outlook has been delivered in recent years to key policy makers in our state and he will bring his unique expertise to attendees at the Chamber’s Eggs & Issues breakfast.
